Midlands League Baseball (MLB) is Columbia's Premier Adult Baseball League.  We are gearing up for the 2009 Fall Baseball Season. We are currently looking for players, umpires, coaches and sponsors.  Please send an e-mail to the commissioner to be placed on a team or you can fill out the player info form which will automatically send your information to the league Commissioner.

Letter From the Commissioner

Hello, I would like to welcome you to the Midlands League Baseball website.  My name is Ronnie Stevens and I am the Commissioner of Midlands League Baseball.  This has been a dream for me to put together an enjoyable adult baseball league here in Columbia, South Carolina.  A league for players of all ages and skill levels, so don't worry, you have what it takes.  All that is required is "love for the game!"  :)  I hope your ready to "PLAY BALL!"  I am very excited to get started so if your ready to play like the big leaguers, then please, check in with me as soon as possible so I can get you on a team for the 2009 Fall Season.  I am taking uniform orders now so go to the "Contact-Us" page and fill out the player info form! THE 2009 FALL SEASON is here!  Come join us for some adult baseball fun!  Season starts SEPTEMBER 26th, 2009!  Get signed up now!

Breaking News

Fall season will start September 26th.

The Athletics defeated the Braves to win the inaugural season Championship. A rain delay interrupted the final inning of the game. After careful consideration the game was ruled official and the A's were crowned the champs.

Game #1 - Braves score 5 in the last inning to defeat Athletics 6-5. Game #2 - Athletics win in extra innings 7-6. Game #3 - Tomorrow at 2:30pm at Ballpark Road

About the League

  • Games are on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday) so it will not disrupt your everyday life.  No games will be played on holidays unless necessary and agreed upon by coaches.

  • The Spring Season is currently scheduled to be a 16 game season.

  • The league will host playoff games and a championship game.

  • Players will wear Majestic Replica Major League Jerseys.  Unless otherwise decided on by the team manager (Included in registration fee).

  • All ages and all skills levels are welcome!
